drivers door

hi does anybody no the best or easiest way to sort the drivers door opening mecanism out? my drivers door doesnt open from the outside and im haveng to get in the pass side then open the door. it opens fine from the inside.

any help would be great.

Sound like the exterior handle isnt lining up correctly inside the door,

If you take your doorcard off, And look too where you locking mechanism is on your door, You should be able too see by looking up into the door, There is a small thin rod that pushes into a grooved clip which pulls and releases the door latch when the exterior handle is pulled.

Worth a look, You may have too undo the 3 torx screws on the side of your door to access it easyier.

I have the same problem too, when i insert the key on the drivers side lock the key will not turn, its almost like its stuck in one position.

ive had a look and The small thin rod that pushes into a grooved clip isnt attached anymore and i can see no way at the mo of re attaching it.

has anybody managed to fix this? im going to have a look round the garage and shed for anything to impravise with
