Hello, a month or 2 ago i removed the black vinyl strips on both my doors just to give it a better look and i'm left with glue residue on my doors.

I've used a few things but can't seem to get it off!!:wall:

I've used sticky stuff remover and that basically did nothing.. also it was combined with a scouring pad, ANY ideas?? cheers.

(before removal, just clearin up what i mean)

you used a scourer on your paint... :|
white spirit should do it

I heated mine up with a hair dryer and then it just rubbed off easily with my hand

WD40 or petrol will remove sticky stuff, without ruining your paint with a scourer

Graphite penetrating spray is the ultimate if you want the least damage to the paint. Obviously if you're careful with the spirits/thinners then it's all gonna be fine.

If you add "remover" to your problem you will be fine ;)

Tar remover such as this would do it easily,

Second that-I use it on tar spots and its pretty good. Lists loads of uses for it on the bottle.
