ive tried all the comparison websites

*go compare
*comparethemarket
*confused
*moneysupermarket

theyve all been bit useless to me as they all want 1900+ for a vtr

ive also tried

*quinn
*bell
*elephant
*admiral
*adrian flux

and all these have been tad expensive for my liking

can anybody suggest anybody else?

my details

age:20
liscense held:17months
in low risk area
ncb: 0
and with both parents on as named drivers

When you're doing quotes on bell are you adding 2 other named drivers? If no just add your parents or something, as it seriously lowers the price.

already tried, but was 2200 with me and my vtr and my mum with her focus,

Insure it in your parents name with you as a named driver till your at least 23.

its still expensive for some reason ! even that way its actualy more than insuring it by myself as my mum doesnt have any no-claims of her own and my dad does but he uses it on his policy

Try A-Plan, i don't know if there a phone only company but where most companies wanted 4 grand to insure my 306 they only wanted 1900, cheapest quote i got from anywhere even on compare the market and stuff they wanted over 2 grand :)

You have insured 2 other VTR's?

So you have no NCD either?

Fault claim?

Can you not get a quote from Chris Knott?

I know they have fairly strict criteria but my renewal just came in at £375 fully comp with protected no claims on my vts so would recommend to try them if you can.

Brentacre were very close in price to Chris Knott but i don't have to pay a deposit with Chris Knott as my policy will just carry over.
