Looks like majority of the parts are there to finish is so would say thats very resonably priced imo..

Would love a kitcar one day :)

Looks like it will be great fun for some one. It's always hit or miss with kit cars as it all depends if some one is after one at the time. It may be worth posting on a few kit car forums as well. Some one had my Sylva off me from the 750MC. They run a kit car race series so there always crashing the things and after parts.

thats bloody heavy, if it weighs close to 950kg, should weigh about 500kg, does seem a little overpriced seeing as no alloys come with it (just steels i assume) and only thing basically done is fitting some panels to the chassis and the suspension and brake setup which takes 1 day. still got all the tricky stuff to do. and with the new SVA being more strict now most people don't want to buy s/h half built kit cars as you never know what "bodge" the previous owner has done and which could cause it to fail SVA.

sva was easy too pass if you bought the right kit off the right company :y:

its IVA now and a little more difficult.

not many kit cars will weigh 500kgs unless its a track prep'd car or bike enginesd. most road spec ones ive seen are between 6-700kgs.

starting price is too much

put it on at a 99p reserve, it will sell for what people are willing to pay

But might not be what hes willing to let it go for. Up to a certain amount it will be worth more to him than it is in £ to some randomer!

Yes SVA was relativly ok to pass, i did 4 kit cars under SVA and no probs but weight wise they were all under 500kg, and there not performance based there Off roaders. and is a car engined. and i did say the new SVA as i didn't know the name ;)

yes mate, it was called sva but all the rules and guidlines have changed. basically its VOSA trying to "kill" the kit car as they deem most of them dangerous and the only way they could do this is to bring forward the IVA test wich has more stringant rules on emissions/light poistioning/sharp edges/overall quality.

in my honest opinion most of the kit cars out there that are built by ametuers are TERRIBLE.. some of the things ive seen would shock you.

VOSA have kicked themselves in the balls because now these new regulations are in place they have lost LOTS of work and had to shut down a lot of IVA test centres.

although saying this, we (westfield) have had about 10 cars lately through IVA with little issue.

lol, only messing. chill, were in the same boat lol,

back on topic, would never buy half built kit cars as you never know what half wit has half put it together. now just need to find another kit car to build as i am bored and finished building liege's, and don't say Westfield lol (fake caterham).
