4. Ignition off then on again
5. Button 1 again - LED turns red (and chrips on my alarm)

7. Push Button 1 5 times(do not count the chirps if it doesnt chirp on the first one, count the button presses)

When you enter the menu the LED should be green for default.

I installed mine the other day and it didnt do this which the manual said was default.

You have to go through the menus and enable the chrip on lock and unlock.

Sorted mine.

1. Enter your pin
2. Ignition on
3. Press button 1 (should chirp)
4. Ignition off then on again
5. Button 1 again - LED turns red
6. Ignition off then on again
7. Button 1 5 times
8. Press buttons 1 + 2 together
9. Wait until it chirps a few times then turn the ignition off and try that. Maybe you didnt wait for the last chirps.

Just looked the manual you need to turn the ignition off after pressing buttons 1 + 2 together then wait for a double chirp.

I have my headlights wired up so that holding button 4 for 3 secs turns them on. Pretty handy and can set the duration for between 1 and 250 secs.

When I change the option it double chirped then I tunred ignition off and it gave a single which according to the manual should have been a double but it still saved the new setting.

Did you try changing the volume of the chirp and pre-warn. I set everything to full volume. (menu 2 - 4)

At step 5 press button 1 twice the led will go green
At step 7 press button 1 4 times

When you enter the menu the LED should be green for default.
press 1 + 2 the LED should go orange
press 1 + 2 again and it should go red.

turn ignition off and wait for the chirp or chirps

right ill try this tomorrow :)

After talking to Mr_TOAD

ignore the chirps, just push the buttons the correct amount of times,i was pushing it once and giving no chrip then on second it gives a chrip,so i was pushing it 6 times instead of 5

just follow the steps exactly and youll be fine :)

Thankyou MR_TOAD

the only thing i would say and i know Ian (mr_toad) will back me up with this is that if you dont know what you are doing you can mess up lots of things when playing with the settings on car alarms.
