Paint....

Hi everyone ,i do a bit of painting from time to time ,and the next step for me is painting up a tailgate that ive got coming ,its black but my cars quartz silver ,my question is :

when i order the paint is it 2k paint ill get ? and does it need laquered?

I use a spray gun and compressor by the way ,and usually only spray using cellulose because I find it easier for diy ,and the shine it gives after some serious wet sanding and buffing .
