Snakes pass - average speed check cameras?

Someone was telling me the otherday that there are now average speed check cameras on snakes pass, is this true?

Average speed would be 60mph? Been a while since ove been on that road, but would be hard to average above that or would be pretty dangerous anyway. Might be a bad thing for bikers though i gues?

I think it's more important to concentrate on the road than whether your doing 60 or 65 mph. Average speed cameras are nothing but a money making scam.

As Jeremy clarkson said, more accidents happen near speed cameras couse everyone slooking in the hedges n bushes for the cameras lol

Or too busy slowing down so they don't get zapped and not enough concentrating on the road
