He suffered from a congenital kidney disease caused by focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (an autoimmune destruction and alteration of the kidney), which halted his growth at an early age, leading to a small stature (4 ft 8 in; 1.42 m) and a childlike appearance. He underwent two kidney transplants, one in 1973 and one in 1984, and required daily dialysis.[3]

It's on paramount now, it used to be on trouble when i used to watch it lol

Alot of them do get like that drinking, drugs, assaulting people. The older lad in the show has been in trouble over the years too and the lass in the show died about ten years ago.

Just goes to show that fame and fortune isn't all that it's cracked up to be.
