my boot wont lock

i bought my vtr 2 days ago and have realised my boot doesnt lock. the remote central locking locks both doors but not the boot. the key goes in the boot but wont turn.

anyone know whats going on?

The central locking pump in the boot has gone remove it yucan still lock it manually or replace it

If you remove the plastic trim from the inside of the boot where the lock is you see the mechanism. Then identify it and unscrew it it fairly simple open herup and have a look. And yes it should

i have removed the plastic trim and found this
