engine dies

hi can anyone help i have just got a v reg 1.6 8 valve saxo vtr.the problem i have is that when i start the car mostley its fine but if i go up the road stop and then restart the engine will run for about ten seconda and then the engine sounds like it is running out of fuel and stops.turn the key and rev it it ok until you stop it again . i have changed the crankshaft sensor and cleaned the carb paddle . the first time the engine cut out completely like someone turned the ignition off. the car has been standing for about 2 months any ides.:panic:

Have yu got the chip in yur key? Cud be the battery in there

yes but the buttons are broken

Try changing the batterys my mate had this happen in his 306! Turned out to be the battery in fob

will do somone suggested coolant temp senor?

Could be take it out an see if rusted over. I'm just talking from past experiences
