Tail light tinting on the cheap

If you dont want to shell out 35 quid for black lights or cant find or dont want to pay for tinting spray USE TIGHTS,

I used my girlfriends tights, just took off the lights, split one pair of tights, tied them round the lights then put them back on!

They have been on motorways, though car washes and sun and rain!!

If they get splits, its less than a quid for new ones!!

Also they come in every colour, let enough light through and can be taken off for the MOT!!

Good or what!!

IMO the best, easiest and cheapest styling mod!!

i had this done then i spent £30 on getting mines tinted and they look v nice

Or you could shell out the £7.99 for tint spray and do backlights and side repeaters for £2 per light with spray left over? Much better option IMO looks way more proffesh

I've just tinted mine this week mate its p**s easy just need to layer it up, bout 7 thin layers. and it looks spot on. Its pretty hard to get runs:

the truth is you cant really tell they're tights till u touch them, then people tend to praise ur enginuity! Also there is no chance they will balls up the MOT!

well yeah you can still tell becuase they have a matted effect and just look like fabric as they arent gloss. whats wrong with removing tinted lights for an mot, takes 5 seconds lol

The no1 chavtastic mod is using tights, you will be fined for it as police can spot them a mile off. I strongly suggest you don't do this. Unless you want a "hench" fine.
