View Full Version : Recomend me some new pads

Am currently using menz pads, am after something softer. Looking at meguiars soft buff pads http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing/meguiars-buffing-pads/meguiar-39-s-softbuff-2-0-foam-polishing-pad/prod_543.html

Are they as 'hard' as menzerna pads. As my menz pads really are quite stiff lol. I have got some chemical guys spot pads that I used aswell and they are alot softer and curve with the bodywork better but I can imagine it taking years and years to do the whole car with a spot pad.

Agree'd tbh:y: love them:) also i'd recommend Gloss It pads or 3M pads.

I can get hold of some 3M pads from my dad, are they ok to use on a DA rather than spinny winny rotary ?

What combos of Hexlogic have you guys gone for ? Not sure if I'm ready to fork out £9 each for 7 pads :cool:

3M pads are excellent tbh:y: DA/Rotary you can use 3M pads on.

I have Black,Green and White and yes as they are self-centring they're fine for your DA

Edit - If you wanna spend some more monies, get some AutoBrite Brite Gel wheel cleaner. It's outstanding

the 7" megs pads are far too big for da IMO

go for the hex logic or 3m

hey im just oredering a couple new pads and need a medium cut and light cut pad. im going to get the black one for the light cut but was just wondering what do you recomend more for medium green or white? thanks
