not that rough but some internet warriors may learn to keep their mouths shut with their rants about pikeys, don't bother me too much, i'm the first generation of my family to have houses with no wheels lol. Appleby is a good time place but getting to the bar can be a battle in itself!

the fare itself isn't bad! I know many people that go,
the sad thing about it is that uneducated people are cruel to the horses and ponies
I/E if you run an unfit animal non stop all day up and down a road it will drop dead! as they do every year at this fair!
so IMO some of the people at the fair need to learn a bit about animal welfare

no point posting it in regional! lol people from EVERWHERE travel to this.

unfortunatley not for me this year, have spent too many pennies on horses this year and cant really afford to add to my brood... although i will miss the drunken banter and the comments at the inapropriatley underdressed travelling girls lol....

i got one from a local market years ago, but that was before the passports.
buying a horse is like buying a car now "dont buy if the seller doesnt have the V5/passport".
