Lancaster - they provided me with a good reasonable classic policy at 22-23.

It might not be that pricey mate, I didn't look into classic insurance on the E30, that's a 1.8 and RWD, but it only cost £6 more with Admiral, than the Saxo did with Chris Knott.

paying 93 amonth on a 1.3*Cough* jetta so a 1.8 Rocco GT2 may be something silly

You trying to get fully comp or tpft? If it's fully comp then I would have thought that old would be avoided maybe because of the potential safety risks associated with old cars etc.

It also might not be something silly though man, worth the ask, try Admiral, lots of other data they use to formulate their quotes, not just the group and engine size.

EDIT: I also think you should buy it anyway, and garage it if you have to until you are older.

yeah after fully comp as i find it to be cheaper with some places

dont you have to prove its a classic with a classic policy? rather than just an old heap of shit (which this will be no doubt ;))

Ring footman james and they will quote you as long as you are over 17 and have a full uk license however you cant get a quote online with them unless you are over 25.

didnt see that, you seem to have a bit of a problem, i was just trying to help, sorry for not reading all the terms and conditions first

jesus, you seem to ask for help then get upset when people try to help

not at all i get upset when people suggest things i have already tried or simply cannot read or when they try and be clever by posting a link that is of not much use

sound familiar?

honestly mate, it was just a link i though might be useful

no need to make a mountain out of a mole hill

when people try to help you, be polite even if its something youve already covered, might end up where people dont bother any more
