Self attempted to make a hole in the door so that the solonoid block had space to move for a central locking kit, when makeing the hole i must have hit somethings and now i cant lock my drivers door!!!! :panic::panic:
What do i d, can it be fixed? or if not how much to replace?

no mate thats me problem, it feels like the linkage may have snapped, cos turning the key one way is smooth and the otherway gets jammed :wall:

Have you still got your door pins in? Can you lock the door by that if you have? Failing that take off the door card and look into the door void and see if it's broken.

no pin doesnt push down and door card was already off when the lock broke as i was drilling a hole were the lock goes so that i could fit a central lock kit. I think the rod from the pin to the mecanism is snapped, i think

id pop down the local breakers and get the parts shouldnt cost much, take the door card off other side and see whats wrong

Sounds like one of the linkages have came apart. Where the solonoid is there is a plastic peice with holes in it, that should be connected to a metal rod (very small).
I cant really explain it, but i hope you know what i mean. If that isnt connected the door will NOT lock.

Where the motor connects to just before it where the door pin rod bends it looks to be snapped there

how can people help you when you have not even put up a picture of the broken part. If it looks broken then you will need a new lock.
