hello ive got a 1.5 mk1 saxo that is leaning towards the drivers side :wall:
the front is maybe alittle bit worse than the back.. so im gonna replace the strut by going to the scrappy so i was wondering if the mk1 and mk2 diesels suspension legs are the same? or 1.1 and 1.5 the same?

Sounds like you may have a snapped spring. I wouldnt drive it if you do :)

Have a look at the spring and see if theres a snap in it ?

very dangerous... if the spring jumps out you're out of control mate, can go through the tire too. measure the gaps from wheel to top of the arch

would the car have any other symptoms other than leaning if the spring was snapped?

Shite handling? Possibly clunking and banging harshly.
jack it up and take a real good look mate.

no some struts are different to others, main difference is the hub has a taper on it where the driveshaft enters on later cars, aside from some being 3 stud wheels. Just get a new spring if thats whats broken
