internet browser

just had something pop up on my laptop asking me to choose/install a internet at the moment i am using windows internet explorer but i have been told that mozilla firefax is faster, but this thing gives me the choice of:

1-windows explorer
2-mozilla firefox
3-safari
4-opera browser
5-google chrome

what browser do you use?

looking at the list, opera seems to have more than the rest in way of features ,

i love opera for spell check built in :) being dyslexic :)

Yeah I prefer Google chrome, just because it is so light, and uses very little of the screen :)

That choice is bollocks. Microsoft are probably kicking themselves the EU forced them to put the choice in. But most people that are offered this choice will stick with IE because it's the Microsoft standard (official).

I use Firefox. But to tell the truth, IE and Firefox are both resource hungry, Opera is probably the fastest/best.

firefox for me is by far the best I believe due to the customisation options, I love a few features from Opera though, really don't rate Chrome. I work in IT tech & it is very worrying I would say 70% of people I speak to use IE.

Only time I use internet explorer is when I know I need absolute compatibility (doing important stuff online, buying/lots of money), streaming shit, flash/internet plugins/addons run better on internet explorer. Also I have two screens, and leave tvcatchup.com streaming in internet explorer full time.

I use chrome, firefox and IE as some websites etc work better in different browsers. Mainly firefox though as its the easiest for me to use as I've been using it for 4 years.

Used Firefox for years but too many prolems with Flash content made me switch to Chrome and it is much better, especially having the bookmarks toolbar across the top, so handy.

Chrome uses separates process' for each tab, whereas Firefox all tabs are processed together.

I used to always get glitches and bugs with Firefox, with Chrome I haven't found a fault yet.
