went round a roundabout too quick, hit the curb, ripped my inner wheel arch surround out and my wheel is sat against the arch, its moved back about 2" or so and is pretty destroyed, what have i done?
Its at a garage and they are going to look at it and by the looks of things i have just bent the wishbone and its moved the wheel back... the drive shaft is still working and is still connected to the gearbox with no trouble.. what is it thats holding it back because the chassis is fine and the engine is sat in the same place, is it just the wishbone holding my wheel a mile away from the front of the car now? what else could i have damaged in the process?

Im pretty good with this area but i cant determine if the wishbone is the only thing thats fucked..

cheers

Normally with this crash, wishbone, trackrod end and droplinks normally end up fucked, no point giving it to a garage its simple enough to fix and they will probably charge a bomb. Im sure you wont be doing it again though :)

I was thinking i would do it myself, but i wanted to check for chassis damage and everything so took it there for a check, if all is well i will go to the scrappy and get the new bits :y:
I want them to tell me if the cv joint, shaft all those bits are okay so i can just replace the wishbone.

and DEFINITELY never again :y:
