lowering 60mm

im wanting to lower my saxo 60mm. im thinking of using the Spax VSX Lowered Suspension Kit. im pretty sure its only the front kit but can anyone confirm this for me. and has anyone had any problems with the torison bar because i heard they fuck up if lowered more than 50mm.

There's no problem with lowering the rear beam if it's done properly (bars are taken out, arms are lifted, bars are re-inserted, opposed to arms being taken off the beam), the kit will be 4 dampers and 2 springs (obv there are no springs on the back because of the rear beam).

Just got to be careful when playing with the torsion bars really, just had mine done to 40mm! Had issues with one torsion bar and also the bias valve (but these are only on the later models iirc) Had to get them machined out but stuff like that happens with an older car.

I do torsion bars all day long so i can say they're easy. But, if you have never done one before you need to understand that you may need tools that you dont have, with torsion bars nothing ever goes to plan. There's too many silly bolts you can round off, threads get damaged easy, bars won't move, shock bolts seized... the list goes on. I've seen it all.

im not planning on doing the torsion bar myself i know a guy that has done a couple so getting him to do it.

Spax vsx kit is ok look into apex aswell. Although spax will drop 60mm

will do but i am wanting 60mm and so far thats the best one i have found for 60

ive got spax 60mm. i dont quite think it has dropped it 60 though, maybe about 50, so im going to chop down the front bumpstops :)
