Just got some badges to put on my new boot and when I put them on there loose and just fall off like the clips are too thin or something, are you ment to stick them on?

yeah mate, i put a little bit of glue on the back of the badges, and also on the pins.

Hot glue gun on the inside by the pins is reported to work well, and will be what I'm gonna do after I spray mine

Should I use any particular glue or just anything to hold them?

Glue on the pins so what just hold the badge in then put glue around the pins in the hole?

I just used super glue, yes, put some glue around the pins in the hole.

glue the pegs on the badges and then put it on the boot.

Double sided tape :y:

Double sided tape is what Citroen use as standard, this allows easy removal without making a bad mess of the paint if you ever want to take them off in future. Using glue is a permanent option.

think i may use double sided tape tbh and just put some glue around the pins in the hole
