I have spent the today fitting my new alarm and have never had so much grief trying to find a constant live, digging around my fuse box i notice my yellow relay is solid in the holder so i managed to remove it and its burnt out the socket and relay, i have no radio feed, H.R.Screen or accessories so i imagine this is my ACC relay, if this is a common fault i'm assuming the relay is cooked and not the loom gone to ground?? (I only bought the car friday last week so didn't notice the radio feed wasn't there as theres no radio in it!!)
:panic:

cheers guys but what i really needed answering was the relay question, i found a live at the rear of the fuse box. Just need to know wether this is a common thing and wether its just the relay at fault and if replacing it will fix it without having to split and trace the loom to find a big short
