Hi Guys

just wondering what gearbox would be better for quick acceleration that would fit into a vtr ?

about the 10th thread on gboxs ive seen today lol.
VTS/1.1/1.4 box, will all help with acceleration and are all interchangeable
VTS box has a sports diff like the VTR box so is strong
1.1 is very similair to VTS box so cheap but no sports diff
1.4 box is similar to VTR box but no sports diff and shorter 3 gears i think

Probably some sort of custom box to be honest :)
defo would want a quaife limited slip diff to aid putting the power down too. :)

yes mate, very very expensive. Quaife LSD Is about £550 iirc.
A custom gear kit either dog gears (like straight cut gears) or coated gears and a close ratio box is upwards of £1000 .. lol lots and lots of money mate.

What do you want from the turbo? Rapid acceleration or high top end?

lsd box dont cost that much tbf and can get some out of some rover gearboxes

But the dog box price....
