are u sure its the wires aren;t stoping it. i tend to need to wiggle the player in and out so the wires behind get themselves in the right place

never had a problem on a saxo..

on a 106 on the other hand you can get a facia to bring it out 12mm

there could be the rubber piece sticking out of the back that can screw out. its there to make a tight fit so it doesnt rattle, but can be taken off easily

I have a similar headunit
I found the Ariel cable stopped mine going all the way back
Put your hand around the back of the dash and as you feed the unit in
Move the wires out of the way

takes me ages to get mine to fit snug, just keep wigglin the cables and get your hand up round the back to help feed it back.

good luck lol

i have exactly the same head unit and it fits fine

u need to put that facia that came with the original head unit (the black plastic cover thingy that goes round the outside of the HU) back on over the new HU
the cover sticks out about 1cm so it covers it up
