Ok ive had a search and none of any other people's problems are exactly the same as mine so i thought id share it with you guys.

So this morning i was driving along after about 1 mile all of a sudden the car seemed to lose all power, the dials froze and the air bag light came on and the power steering began to fade. So i turned the ignition and the car all of a sudden went back to normal so i carried on driving. Then about 5 miles furthur it happened again, exactly the same when i turned the ignition it started the car and it was fine. I drove home, total of about 6 miles and the car was fine no issiues.

Any idea what could be causing this, if it continiues to happen its going to make the car unsafe to drive.

All help appreciated

Dont know if you got it sorted mate but it will either be the ht leads, ecu or the battery. Ive been looking big into it to as you will remember that time my car went funny, took ht leads off dried them and wd-40 them no problems ever sinse. If the car is cutting off and working again really sounds like the ht leads as their may not be sufficent sourse coming from them or depending on how old the battery is their might not be enough power circulating through the car. But again looks to be a big field of problems cos if your talking the battery side you could be looking at the alt might not be working as it should, or earthing in you car might not be good e.g big serge and for the safety of the car a cut off switch might happen to stop damage to the car, then when starting the car it might have corrected.
