I have a mk2 vtr-53 plate/Black.
just wondering-i want to touch up some marks on the doors etc,but dont know which type of paint to use. i was at a car accessory place yesterday & he's got loadsa cheap car=plan paint, but i dont know whats best to use. any ideas guys? my paint code is =- EXYB**
I was thinkin about using a gloss but was worried about it being too shiny & standing out from the rest o the paint-work. its a really shiny black paint job on it as well.then i thought about using a matt-or satin black then a laquer????aint gonna touch it til i hear some advice

urm wasnt easy to understand what your saying to be ohnest bud but you can get stuff thats paint and laquer mixed i think.
you can just go halfords and many other places and they will mix up a repair pen to match your colour code then add a laquer ontop. you will never get a perfect finish just by touching it up with the pen anyway. to get the best finish its best to use the ones that are mixed paint and laquer then wet sand and polish it back up theres some good guides on dw about touching up stone chips and so on. d.w is currently down at the moment so cant give you the link bud

Here's the guide on Stone chip repair, but I wouldn't suggest trying it. I've been practicing on a spare door i have in the garage and much car is needed.
