DIY Window tinting

Ok so I really want tinted windows but nowhere anywhere near to me does it? How is it doing it yourself?

its not to hard to do rear 3/4 windows, with time and patience. did mine with window cleaner and ceap film came out just fine

Ok and what bout the others? Did you do them yourself?

i would not attempot the rear one if you not done them befroe you need to shink it to the rear glass with heat gun

yeah even if i shrinked it then sent u it its still a had job for a novice no offense to do best of doing rear quarters and fronts as there dead easy use soapy water and take time then pay about 40 quid to get the rear done professionally

yea the rear is a bastard, few people said its easier if you take boot off but still hard. i only did my 3/4windows myself the rest forward of b pilar can;t be tinted so i read

if you want it to look anywhere near decent then pay a pro to do it

i drive with light smoke on the front of my car been pulled 2 times for speeding and never once been said out bout the tints on the front like and cops have always looked round my car

there is a few places in glasgow that do it that a know of. am thinkin getting mine done aswell but its like £100 to £150 for them to get done i have tryed doing mine myself aswell but as tease1986 said it is really hard to do that dam back window haha tryed twice and failed twice :( but there is people that will do it in glasgow and there is a place in hamilton aswell :)

In essence i've heard its a very fiddly job... I would pay a pro to do it. Think you can get the rear 3 done for easily under £100
