Hi guys,

The bumpstrips on my silver mk2 are fading really badly and they have now turned in to a horrible grey-ish colour. What could I use to get them black and shiny again?

Would appreciate suggestions and pictures of what you guys use and the outcome of using it :)

Thanks in advance :y:

I tried using trim shine and treatments but it lasted about a day, no matter which I used, so currently mad rushing to colour code before the car show on Sunday!!

I dont think colour coding suits silver saxos so dont really want to go down that route. Also, dont like the idea of gloss black bumpstrips I just want them standard black and shiny like they used to be!

If it really is that good then this stuff fucking rocks, lol.

Is that what you use mate? Any pics of your car? :P

I don't need to use C4 on my car, it's less than 4 years old and I look after it so the bumpstrips aren't faded

15ml sounds like nothing? Would it be enough do you think? or should I get the 25ml one?

Depends on how much you'll waste!

Go for the 25ml if you're a N000000B

CarlosVT

Well a VERY little goes a VERY long way. It's the same with most detailing items people over dilute, over apply etc...

Cant argue with those before and after shots. Might order some of that stuff in the future.

There's also a video on their website. The stuff is pretty amazing.

I use Carplan 'black trim' out of halfords for when i've washed the car. I think it's good stuff, brings bumpers back to black.

CarlosVT

Is it permanent though? Or have you got to use it every time you wash the car?
