I've got a mk2 VTR and if I drive it for more than 10 minutes, when I stop the fan keeps going. It's loud and just more of an annoyance than anything.
Any ideas why it does it or how to fix it?

U could drive it 4 less than ten minutes, not go over 20mph or cut the wires to the fan but that may not be a good idea

Ps: It's normal, but it could indicate one of your sensors or your rad is on the way out if it does it all the time, even when the weather isn't particularly warm

Ahh okay. Yeah, it does it all the time, not just when it's a hot day :/

lol its not like a fan to keep it cool for it to feel good. Itll do it anyday in the winter no matter how cold it is.
More so when the cars idling.

I think there are different thermostats available that can help, when i had a 8v i replaced the thermostat with a motor factors job and it ran unusually hotter than 'normal' with the fan coming on when i parked up.
It was annoying so tried a different thermostat, a genuine one, problem solved :y:
