Hi All,

Just bought my mates vts other week and its been lowered by 60mm at the front and 80mm at the back on the torsion bar (never rubbed or scrapped before) when my mate had the car he had no problem with getting 3 people in the back. I had 3 people in the back the other day and a full boot so the back wheels were rubbing over some bumps in the road. Got home and everybody out and it still rubs over bumps? wasnt doing this before I had a full car so just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Or even if it should reset back to how it was because it is alot lower since had a full car. Any info will be appreciated. Will get some photos on later on of before and after had people in the back. Cheers

Back wheels sitting at a camber by any chance?

i.e..... /----\ or l----\ or /----l

Could be your beam has gone and it's now rubbing on the inner of the wheel arch.

My back right wheel is exactly like that and makes noises over bumps and stuff. Is it a new rear axle job?

No the wheels arent sat at a camber seems fine really. The back was already dropped 80mm at the back so was low anyway but could clear speed bumps at low speeds and never rubbed. Since having the car full it seems lower at the back at rubs over bumps even on the motorway. Will take some pictures later on so you can see how much lower it is, Probs not even that much just enough to make the wheels rub in the arches.
