Hey, My mechanic was lookin at my car recently and noticed i have a fairly bad leak on my gearbox and also that my linkages are no good.
Anyway he showed me that someone ( previous owner or mechanic) has attached some wire to the linkage ( cant be sure which bit ) but its basically there to keep it in place... Theres a lot of play in the gear stick in gear and out.
My question is, If i have them replaced is it better to get the uprated ones from kam or will the standard ones do the job, I just dont want them to go again in 6 months and have to replace them again.
Also when these new linkages are fitted is it likely to stop the wobblyness and slight crunching into gear ?
Thanks
Carl
