Does anybody here know where i can get an inlet mani (i assume it would have to be custom made) so i can fit gsxr1000 bodies to my saxo vtr (with 1999 gti engine)

Like this? http://www.gmcmotorsport.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21_93&products_id=213

Even for gsxr1000 do they fit straight to a gti engine? What else is needed?

I was thinking maybe these http://www.gmcmotorsport.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21_93&products_id=233
As nothing else is required??

colin/sandy do a full tb set for a very reasonable price if you supply the bodies

I probably won't be getting tb's for a while i think my suspension and brakes definitely need sorting first. Plus the cams are providing me with enough fun for the time being lol

But will probably seek your advice some time in the future :)

thats probably why you don't have throttle bodies.

Shame your an hour and a half away. Would love to see what your car is capable of...What brakes you get it the end?

Im loving it at the moment although I need a new fuel pressure regulator as it wont stay constant and keeps rising up to 6bar so its doing about 15mpg at the moment lol going to buy a new better one later. As for brakes Ive got a lot of saving to do first but I'm swaying towards the 266mm set up with some decent pads and disks.

Think mines standard and mine seems to be okay but im guessing thats cos i don't have tb's. I take it you have gauges? Which one's have you got and where did you get them?

yeah will be standard on yours mate, yeah i have a pressure gauge on the fpr and i also have a AFR gauge which is useful for tb's. You'll need a wideband lambda control which scenes the Air fuel ratio in the exhaust and tells you how rich or lean your engine is on a scale, where as the standard lambda is narrow band so it only tells you if its rich or lean not by how much which isn't useful for mapping. The wideband control I chose was the Innovate LC-1.

Andy had a scale on his laptop as far as im aware as to how rich/weak the mixture was so maybe i have wideband? Or im just being a mong again lol

Lol, thats why your car has been chipping instead of being mapped;)
