Got this thing at work called a sweepstake i think, which is some kinda competition they are selling tickets to the staff for £3 and if you come first place you win £50 i think its to do with the world cup but i have no clue what a sweepstake is lol ????

Well if it's to do with the world cup it sounds like if you put £3 in and choose a team that you think will win the world cup. If your team wins you pocket the cash!

We do same at work for the grand national. Everyone picks a horse and gives in £1, all money goes to the person with the winning horse.

last four teams where south africa, brazil, argentina and alegeria. he picked out sa and al, so i had another go ;)
