Just having a browse on tweeks and i don't know if there is a problem with the site or if they just don't do them any more, but there are no cages for the saxo!!!

Surely one is enough lol. Btw how low to the floor can you adjust your seat? Bit off topic i know.

lol. I thought i'd just make a public announcement. And yeah, quite off topic. Well the gd subframes i have are some of the lowest available. I can probably go a little bit lower than currently in my pictures.

I have put a thread up but no one is likely to reply lol. The problem i've got is that my helment hits the rollcage and the only thing i can do is buy a new side mount seat to get it sitting lower. Just didn't know how lower they will go, it will ideally have to be very close to the floor for it to clear. I'm using a motorbike helmet at the moment, are proper motorsport car ones any thinner?

The more money you spend the thinner they get. Motorbike ones tend to be thicker as they have no cockpit to hinder them etc. I have a motorbike one atm and clear my cage by about 2". And i'm not that short. About 5,11"

i ruined my head liner in my last saxo doing trackdays. helmet rubbed and hit it all the time.

If you have a dedicated trackday car it may be worth getting proper seat mounts welded in. That way you can get the seat lower. It will be much more secure too.
