day insurance

i know there is day insurance but the ones i have been looking at dont insure cars over 10 years old, as i want to insure my vtr for a few days so i can take it to the french car show:) im a dad now so money is tight and i cant afford to insure two cars :( otherwise i would:) anyone know of any that would?

I think you have to be over a certain age as well ,might be 25 but don't quote me on that.

i used the hpi check to get insurance on a vts to get it home when i brought it but i dont no if the offer is still the same now, all i had to do was get a quote for insurance from aviva on the car no catches suprisingly. check piston heads thats were i seen it

its only £20 and that was cheaper than 3 days insurance (£35ish) from a temperary insurance firm and i got the hpi check too! bonus
