Always wondered what a 1.4 would be like on TB's has no one done this?? is it because its 8v or something else??

people going for big power start on vts engines simply becouse a vts has 120bhp and a 1.4 is 75:y:

people dont do it because im sure its cheaper to get a VTS conversion...
extra 45bhp for a few hundred..

Yeah man agreed but i'd just love to see what a 1.4 on TB's would be like :P i reckon it'd be awesome :)

Because you'll get "even more" from starting off with a larger, more powerful engine in the first place.

The only reason I can really imagine it being done to a 1.4 is for motorsport purposes to comply with a certain group. (I know FA about what these would be)

Yeah man, what sort of gains do you get from a VTS with TB's?? from 120bhp to ???bhp? always wondered haha

160-170. ish. Depending on what Cam is used.

Jesus thats a mahoossivvvee jump in power man and cams... i see people usually using PH3's iirc..

my mate had a ax 1.4 i think on boddies, cituning built the whole car. It was in max power back in the day wish i knew what it looked like in its prime:n:

theres plently of 1.3 rallyes and 1.4 xsi's on TB's, but its more of a 106 thing lol

The only reason you would spend big money on a 1.4 is for motorsport use.JRE can build you a 210bhp vauxhaull engine for your nova/corsa.Theres alot of rally boys that use these,but for road use its pointless,you might aswell start with a 16v.
