First off, yes I know this is a saxo forum... But thought I'd post anyway for your opinions.

I'm thnking of selling the vts and getting a 325 coupe. I would have a max of 5k to spend, I have seen some nice looking examples on 01 to around 03 plates, with mileage of 85k upwards for around that price.

Anyone own one, driven one, opinions ? I think they look the bollocks and will obviously drive nice. Servicing and parts will be expensive tho. What should I be looking out for when I view one ?

I owned a 330ci coupe before my leon and that really was a fantastic car.

Great car to drive but obviously epensive to run, say hello to 20mpg around town and i don't think the 325 will be much better.

Insurance wasnt too bad but i am getting old at nearly 30.

They do look stunning with only a small amount of money spent on them too which is nice.

If you want a e46 the 330 is the only non-m to buy if you test them you'll understand there absolute poo compared to the 3.0, that's Not just performance either the 3.0is actully better on fuel too.

I drove a friends 325i Sport (Saloon) yesterday, and compared to my 1.1, it was VERY fast lol. Shame they waste the power by shoving a dopey auto gearbox on them. This one I was driving had tiptronic but I didnt use it.
