Saxo VTS Steering Rack!

Hi guys,

I was looking around garages for a VTS and found a nice 2001 plate black VTS going for £1595.

Went through all the stages and the dealer went to get it MOT'd for me and it turns out the steering rack needs sorting.

After more discussion I think I got the dealer down to like £300-400 pounds maybe a bit more for the car... I haven't bought it though.

Was wondering if anyone could actually tell me how much realistically it'd cost to fix this problem with the steering rack or just some general information on it.

It wont cost anywhere near £1000 for a new rack
