It's either got damage, runs like shit, or it's genuinely priced low, probably cos of the mods or garage ignorance for the market for it...

garage ignorance for the market for it...

I doubt that bit, but it does happen I guess.

My guess is the paintwork is battered... I mean look at the front bumper, it's been widemouthed by the looks of it, so there is a chance of cracking around the lower rad duct and paint flaking perhaps.

Despite the low miles it probably has no/little service history... or there are several problems lurking about but not enough for the garage to repair... such as rips and scuffs in the interior, slight oil leak, squeaks and rattles - to be honest after reading that back it sounds like a standard saxo.

some half assed de-wipering, and the front looks like shit (the radiator is probably shredded to fuck on the lower part). Apart from that it might be worth a look ?

They've probably raced the hell out of it and just want to get it off their hands quick. Or they're in money probs like a lot of people I know. My mate sold his T reg Subaru for £900. Mean, yeah, you've got the age to consider. But it was in mint condition and he'd done some mods. Like he told me though, he needed to get rid of it quick. :n:

might just want a quick sale. My mate sold his 55 plate Mini 40K on the clock for £3.500.

Could have been clocked or crashed.. although if it was clocked.. you'd still want the going rate.. not less.

Of course it could be none of these things and just cheap. Looks a bit shabby, not very clean, and although only subtle mods (meshed grille, relocated numberplate (and a square rather than rectangle), and a different exhaust.. If I was to sterotype everyone who mods their car (e.g... most Saxo owners) I'd say....

:D.

I also doubted it was garage ignorance, but maybe they looked at all the mods and doubted their ability to shift it? Fuck knows, it's more likely to be a total shitter of a car, I was just stating possible reasons. My dad used to be a trader and he thinks every car in the world is worth fuck all apparently, so I guess it happens.
