Hey guys,
Got the saxo atm will be the first driver in the house so insurance on the saxo looks like it will cost me a BOMB
So was wondering... is there any better of a car i should get for the same expensive insurance prices? or...
Any car i should sell/swap the sax for to get a cheaper insurance quote?
Not actually driving yet but did a few online quotes and looks mental, co-op quoted 4500 :o
Would a 106 be any different?

depends on what saxo you are talking about... not sure if the insurance differs with the 106, i know that the gti is cheaper to insure than the vts but you pay a premium to buy them in the first place :)

admiral have always been good with young drivers. in my experience anyway. just gonna have to shop around. call them rather than searching internet will come out cheaper aswel.

a 1.1 saxo shouldnt be that expensive, have you tried using something like confused.com? takes some time to put all the details in but worth it.

have you tried getting quotes with a limited mileage policy? and also might be worth looking into doing a pass plus course, it almost halved the quote's i was getting when i was 18

I would recommend going to a few comparison websites then calling the cheapest and going direct as the comparison websites make so many assumptions i dont trust them
