Dunno if mine is?

Just cut all the slats out, fibreglass/filler the holes or put a widemouth insert in there?

well yea thats a widemouth

to the op, wide mouthing is when you cut out the vertical horizontal slats out of the front bumper here are a few pics of me doing it

theres two ways to do it, either smooth the holes out so its all flush (euro look)
http://i357.photobucket.com/albums/oo16/jeffchiz/2rnzqe9.jpg
or use an insert (more aggressive look) this is what i have

or some people just take out the vertical slats, but this isn't really widemouthing

sorry i was looking at photos from when you have just painted it.

also theres nothing wrong with using an insert, i had the bumper made up from scratch for me if i wanted it all smoothed then i would have saved my self £90 not buying an insert but i wanted an insert, i wanted a more aggressive look

well. thanks for all that info and what not guys :D
i suppose it can't be too hard to smooth the bumper off?
they really do look nice, really nice with the aggressive look
but £90 on the insert kinda puts me off, only me 1st car :p

well they are £70 but £85 posted brand new, if you dont use an insert you have to respray the whole bumper which will cost more than £85 at most places, unless you got a can of matt black out and sprayed it your self

and anyone know where to get mirror caps from?

scrappy, ebay, forsale/wanted section?

fair enough i just like how the insert gives it a more interesting shape, also im getting my bumper resprayed again, and i think im gonna get rid of the black paint around the widemouth, so it looks a bit more like saxo180's old car

yea im getting the plate recess done as well along with the tow eye (should have been done the first time) and maybe smooth the lower splitter in to the bumper, a flush wide mouth would probably suit my car more but i do love the old insert lol

ive heard using the insert can be a real ball ache to make it fit right. Looks better done the proper way imo. insert never sits flush and looks like it will fall out lol imo
