hi,
what should i do as i am tempted to sell my saxo VTR and get a toyota corolla 1.6.
and if your thinking why a toyota corolla because i would like to make it into a rally replica

http://robson.m3rlin.org/cars/wp-content/uploads/2007/02/toyota_corolla_wrc.jpg

is it worth selling the saxo for or should i just save up for a few years and keep the saxo and then get a corolla?

..It probably wouldn't look as good as that, and if it doesn't have the power to back it up it will be lame.

You will look like a twat.

Other then that the 1.9 diesel versions are so good! My mate had one, nicknamed Carol, it was legendary! Had a bad ending, Crush worse then Saxo's!

In what respect?

They do crumble easily, sometimes I wonder how my mate survived his accident.

Performance wise I only ever once saw it up against a VTR and it matched it to about 30 then the VTR was in a league of its own and overtook from there. Bearing in mind im talking about a 1.9 diesel.

Looks wise, a stickered up Corolla on a normal road or in a traffic jam? People would laugh, unless it was on a track it would look out of place :)

Interior wise, alot worse than a Saxo. Only thing better is the seats, nice to sit in.

Just trying to help you not make a mistake :)

There is only one way of finding out if you prefer it or not, test drive one :)

But in all honesty, hitting a deer at 60, spinning out of control, rolling and ending up in a random place 60feet down the road, im not sure any car can stand upto that, When I saw his injuries and the pictures of the car, it was almost a cube, think the thing that saved him was the seatbelt locking him into the seat.

Last thing I would want is for you to find out the hard way tbh. If you had sense get a BMW 316 ;)

EDIT: They are immense!

I would love one! Only ever been a passenger in one :( They are slow but its just the way the rear end seems to kick out that I love :)

Actually mate, im wrong, there is only a small chance you will have an accident, try the Corolla idea, you might like it :) Each to their own at the end of the day. Do it! lol

EDIT: 1999th post ;)

It won't cost too much. Tbh its the best £100 I have ever spent, you can literally throw your car around roundabouts and you won't have no trouble :) Before the front end use to kick out and slide sideways
