I ordered this package on wednesday:

http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-jbl-gto1204bp-a402-jw1000_p-26307.htm

I had a call off the guy saying it was out of stock so he would send a better package for the same price, so I agreed.

These are what came this morning:

http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-in-phase-xt12-bx12p_p-20998.htm

How do they compare, as I've heard bad things about the Juice amps?

the sub is deffo better.

amp however, debatable. they don't quote an rms value.

however the rrp price of 200quid compared with the amp you were going to get with everything else for 130?

i would say it's as good as, if not abit better?

yeah going by the prices it does seem a better deal. i checked through a few sites and they say that the shop offers deals that they havent got in stock just to get rid of their own brand stuff that is not selling. they also say that the quality of the Juice amp is crap, same as the InPhase subs

I wouldnt expect much from the amp, but the only thing you can do is plug it all in and have a listen and see if your happy with it

Yeah thats what I was going to do, but thought that if anyone knows if it would be good or crap first, I can send it back without opening the boxes.

Well that sub is single 4 ohm which means you will never get the potetntial out the amp with that particular sub and from what ive heard juice amps arent amazing. My mate has an in phase amp which is amazing so i suppose the sub could be quite good. As said your just guna have to plug it in and have a listen.

Ring up where you got the deal from and say you do not like the spec of the amp and see if they will offer you another of the same value or slightly higher.
No harm in trying your luck

Having read around a few forums where the same thing has happened to other people it seems like they just wont give a crap if i do ring them up. Many people have sent the stuff back and never got their money back, or ended up having to go through small claims court to get it after months of waiting. Do a google search for 'caraudiocentre scam' and you will find plenty of other people that have had the same problems with them. Fact is they should not be advertising the deals that they do with no intention of ever having it in stock, and then offering people 'better' deals, just to get rid of their own brand products which are not selling.
