i bought some 6x9s a while ago but never got round to fitting them after a lot of people have said component speakers are the way forward i am looking at getting a set here are the ones i am looking at, at the moment what do you think of them which ones whats the sound like if youve got them thanks.

also would it be worth going for rear components aswell, what is the sound quality like without

i would say they are much good tbh.
rms is ok but peak is 900 which sounds way to high for components to handle.
these have a lot less power but will still sound really loud.

3rd option ...but for value for money, go with the 2nd option, you'll be pleased with them. I've had them in 2 cars now and been more than happy. You only need them up front, a Saxo's not really big enough to get the benefit of a back set. Are you amping them? Are you having a sub? A decent amp and a nice sub set the comps off :y:

hi cheers yeh ive got a sub wired up allready 1200watt T1 amp and sub, just was going to amp some 6x9s up but people have said its a lot better if you amp up some components, so im persuaded on that idea just unsure which ones

ok purchased the GTO507c component speakers from caraudiocentre yesterday just got an email asking me to give them a call problem with the order. they said they only have 1 box left and the item isdamaged so they cant send them out they have offered me an alternative to this spec and in the end finished up with these

is it a good switch or are the jbl gtos better i know pioneer is a big make and great sound quality and the man told me they are 70w rms but i have been looking and they come up nominal 30w is this right thanks

Hmm already been dispatched will be here today but not sure whether to return or not they did the pioneer upgrade for free I'm just trying to find the rms wattage of the pioneers sone say 35w some say 70w each are they variable between wattages
