Chalkboard paint!

I have decided to do my bonnet in chalkboard paint, i went to a meet last night and alot of people said i will look smart so think im gona try and it will be alot different to many cars around,
and you lads at the meets can sign the bonnet :P

why would you want a chalkboard on your bonnet really? thats almost as bad as 'ratting' your car, which looks shite

if you want a chalkboard that much go and buy one lol, but if your adament on doing so at least get a spare bonnet to do it on first.:y:

well my bonnet is fucked at its black ne ways but its all worn, so it needs doing anyways so why not do 4 this idea? worth a try aint it :)

By chalk board do you just mean matt paint or actual chalk board to be written on by randoms?

its a matt paint, cos im going for a matt look but for it to be sprayed up cheapest ive been quoted is £90 but ive got to many things to sort out atm, so it will be a cheap option and look as good

i have a black bonnet atm and it looks toss, chalkboard bonnet looks as good as matt paint and its cheap to do :)

if you want to do it cheap go get 2 cans off matt black from B+Q will cost you 12quid. chalkboard paint is more expensive...

chalkboard paint is £8 of ebay 500ml tin, i used tins on my bonnet its shit, have a few runs in it

two cans of 500ml matt black spray paint will be more then enough. as said already cheaper then the chalkboard shite at £5.80 a can

I like it tbh but only cause i like the 'rat look' style hahaha........ Im doin it to my saxo but i doin the bonnet and roof :P mainly cause i bumped it and i saw the chance it looks shit anyway so haha

i sprayed my bonnet with a gloss spray and it looks toss, theres 2/3 runs in it and you can tell its been done with a can, but a chalkboard/matt look wiith a brush cos its so think the paint when it drys it wont leave no brush marks, ive seen it done
