I aint a fan of Mk6 Fiesta's really.. They are a bit big
I like the Mk5 Zetec-S though, you considered one of them?
Try www.zsoc.com or .co.uk can't remember which, and sign up and have a look around the forum. Use the search, you will find everything you could possibly need to know about them

I think they are both really nice, only downside is that the MK6 feels huge compared to the saxo, so it takes the go-kart feel away from driving lol

Thanks for the links Peter but they are all miles away and modified which is a no no on my insurance.

The silver one with 37k miles only has an exhaust and the FRP seats really.. Sell the exhaust and bu a standard one! And those FRP seats, when i was in the Fiesta world, would sell for around £700 for the pair!! So you could sell them for £700 and buy Zetec-S seats for £50! So you could easily get about £700+ back from selling those.. The cars £3500 ono, you could try him at £3200, make £700 back, so the cars only costing £2500 for a minter!
If i was wanting a minter of a car i'd be prepared to travel for it
Dooo it!

I can't say much about the Mk6 though it's basically the same engine but i love my MK5, the handling is superb and as for reliabilty i haven't had a single problem in 2 years of ownership and i don't drive it lightly.
Great cars for the amount they cost to run :y:

I've got a tdci MK 6.5 it's great! Reliable, looks brilliant and it's soo comfy. If you get one try get optional extras like heated front screen. If you still want a go kart though get an MK5. Take a look on www.zsoc.com for some for sale.

Ah so high 7's not relly exciting then lol. Ive heard of the older ones mk4 maybe? early ninty ones with 2.0 bottom ends from mondeos iirc.
Thaught seeing the size of them theyd be high 6's. Im not a ford man btw i know very little about them.

i had a mk5 zetec s with puma engine and lowered on coilovers. was far faster, more comfortable, more reliable, less rattly and better looking than my saxo vtr.
But was also £1000 more to buy!

i had a mk4 fezzy. ok, not a zetec s or anything, but, just to add my 2p
the only trouble i had was with the horrible, horrible 1.3 engine. drove alright, but the engine was shit and died on me
plus, the wings are welded on so i couldn't change them myself!
other than that, not a bad car. seemed nicer than the saxo. i'd imagine with a nice engine, better brakes and some decent suspension it would be ok, but the handling of the vtr pisses all over it!

The MK5'S are mint, in Zetec blue, just need to de-tango the headlight indicator lenses’. It was a choice between that and a VTR for me actually. Such nice fiesta's. Easily the best one's they do before the monstrosities they have now (..which I actually quite like too :D.. but they aren't small/go karts anymore :'(. )

See, that would be perfect (racing puma engine would be even better :D), I'd take one over my VTR now.. maybe. Such a hard deciscion. I know it's a little 'better'.. but I love my VTR too :(.

I was gonna get one in black, slam it on coilies and white wheels! But then i got the Rallye instead which i'm glad i did now.. The Zetec-S really needs to have about 140bhp to be near VTS speed
But for being 103bhp standard, alot are pulling about 115bhp-120bhp on the rolling road with just exhaust and filter, and alot are getting 110bhp+ as standard
Insurance Group 8 or something though which is good!

Get a Renaultsport Twingo with the cup chassis, blows the fiesta out the water on every level.

That's true, aren't they a lot more expensive though?
