Where abouts is the Idle control valve located?
I have a saxo forte 1.1 on an X plate 2001....just wondering which one it is as i believe there are 2 different types???

Is yours the MPI? The silvertop engine? If so its near the back of the engine bay, on the back of the throttle body near the bulkhead.

MPI is multi point injection
Silvertop is the color of your rocker cover just makes it easier to know what engine you have as there are many different ones so if you have a problem with something then just put in the thread that its a silvertop just helps sometimes

yours should be in the back of the engine bay so closest to you front wind screen and center of the bonnet and there is a black round thing with a plug in the back of it the plug comes out and i think its 2 or 3 torx screws which are a pain to get to unless tou have L shaped torx bits like allen keys. they make life easier
