I just got a JVC KD-G311 cd/radio for my car and it has a 3.5mm jack(female) on it. I think I read that its a line-in,but Ive tried to hook my mp3 player upto it but cant get any joy with the sound.Tried looking up the manual & its driving me crazy - any ideas??? Dont know if its supposed to play mp3 players or not.any help would be appreciated!!cheers

is it in the front or the back mate?

its at the back.theres a female 3.5mm lead about 10" long.looked up the manual but cant seem to find anything surprisingly

You can connect a steering wheel remote controller to the head unit via that connection
