What will i need to spray my mesh black? other than black paint.
i.e. what types of paint etc. cheers

metal primer or i think u can get black metal paint

yup. rub the mesh down to get rid of oxides first though

i just used a wire brush to take off all the nastys on the mesh, then used red oxide primer bout 3 coats to stop the rust, then used black spray paint bout 3 coats and a good day to dry smileys/smiley4.gif

i just sprayed mine black with gloss black spray paint its been fine for weeks so farr!

If you havn't got any paint already it might be cheaper to get some decent black mesh to start with. I sprayed some of mine once and it didn't last 6 months. So I went and got two large sheets of black.

this is true, i only did it because i already had some paint in garage, its only £25 a sheet for black mesh so to save the bother if you havnt got mesh already is just to buy it black already!
