Anyone fitted daytime running lamps to their cars?

I need to consider fitting some to some vehicles due to some legislation that is due to come in, anyone recommend any?

Pics would be great

Do you need to fit them to all cars? i was under the impression it was just new cars?

I thought DRL's only needed to be fitted to new car's. Not every car?

you are right, just new cars

but there are some slightly different rules for lorries that will be used on mainland europe

It's so they're on all the time. I see people sooooo often driving at night without light's on so it's a good idea imo. May not be headlight's but atleast it's some lights.

yes i do carry out the odd light job now and then

make sidelighs constant or make everyone have volvos lol

i think its a good idea imo :) makes you notice the cars easier even in daylight!

DRL's come on when you start the car,Sidelights are on a switch.

Take it your just going to wire them into the ignition barrel so that when the truck starts the lights come on?

i think its a good idea imo :) makes you notice the cars easier even in daylight!

Bad idea, more difficult to spot bikes. And the more electrics you use, the higher the fuel consumption. I have no problem seeing cars in daylight :/
