gears squeeking

wen i change gear in my car they squeek wen the car has warmed up. i have tried greasing all the gear linkages up and it wont go. wot else can i do to make it go. has anyone else had this problem ?

Hi,

The squeaking may be your clutch release bearing wearing out.

it's probably the nylon bush at the bottom of your gearstick

or your pivot bolt under car directly beneath stick...

mine does it sometimes think it the only linkage/bolt to put owt on coz others are rubber covered so nothing should be applied ie grease...
